Strand of Oaks - Last to Swim
I’ve been obsessed with Strand of Oaks recently. He sings about life where I grew up in Northeastern PA (technically, he’s singing about Wilkes-Barre—I’m from Hazleton—but close enough) and the guy manages to articulate both the sadness and the inspiration that I’ve always felt there. He is funding the vinyl pressing of his album on Kickstarter and there’s one day left. $20 gets you the record.
